FAQs
The questions people ask before they scope.
Everything you need to understand how Prexision works — the model, the people, the pricing and getting started.
The Model
How is Prexision different from a freelance marketplace?+
On a marketplace you hire individuals and become their manager, reviewer and coordinator. With Prexision you engage a managed team — preparers, reviewers and a lead who work as one unit, employed permanently by us. Review, continuity and coordination are built into the engagement, not left on your desk.
Are the people on my engagement contractors?+
No. Every professional deployed to your engagement is a permanent member of Prexision. We may hire specifically for your project, but they join us as permanent staff and build their careers here — which is why they stay, and why your context stays with them.
Can I take just one discipline, or do I need all three?+
Take one or all three. Many clients start with accounting and add FP&A once the close is solid, or add tax ahead of filing season. Because the same team carries your context across disciplines, your forecast already understands your ledger.
Engagements & Terms
Can I start with a short engagement and extend it?+
Yes — and most clients do. Fixed-term engagements convert to perpetual at any point, with the same team carrying straight through. There's no conversion fee and no re-scoping penalty; we simply re-baseline the calendar together.
What happens if someone on my team leaves Prexision?+
The team absorbs it. Because work is prepared and reviewed inside the team, knowledge of your business is never held by one person. We backfill from our permanent bench and your delivery calendar doesn't move.
Do you work in our systems or yours?+
Yours, by default. Your team works inside your accounting stack, reporting templates and document workflows. If you don't have an established stack, we'll recommend and set one up with you — and it remains yours.
Pricing
How is my quote calculated?+
From three observable factors: your monthly transaction volume, the complexity of those transactions (entities, currencies, inventory, revenue recognition), and the number of professionals your cadence requires. Term shapes the structure, not hidden fees.
Why don't you publish fixed prices?+
A fixed price for undefined work is a guess, and someone always pays for a guess. A 500-transaction single-entity business and a 5,000-transaction multi-currency group aren't the same client. Your quote reflects your facts — and we show the construction.
What if my volumes change after we start?+
Normal monthly fluctuation is absorbed — we price to your operating range. If your business steps up materially (an acquisition, a new entity, a new revenue line), we re-baseline scope and quote together before the new work begins.
Our People
How do you ensure quality?+
Every deliverable passes through at least two review layers — preparer, reviewer and lead — before it reaches you. Combined with permanent, well-trained staff and standing review structures, that's how we keep the standard high month after month.
Will I have a consistent team?+
Yes. Continuity is the point. You'll work with the same dedicated team and a named lead who is your single point of contact, so your business context compounds rather than resets.
Getting Started
How quickly can we begin?+
After a complete requirements submission, we typically return a quote within two business days, then assemble and onboard your team on an agreed start date. Onboarding and knowledge capture are included.
How do I get a quote?+
Head to Contact and share your scope, reporting needs, transaction profile and preferred term. It takes about ten minutes, and we'll handle the rest.
